Giannis Antetokounmpo:

Giannis Antetokounmpo rightly secured the nick name ‘The Greek Freak’, the things that this man can do is nearly unmatched. Giannis is a beast in the paint and can cause major headaches to the opposition. Giannis, number 34 for the Milwaukee Bucks, standing at 6 feet 11 inches (2.11 meters) has recently signed the biggest contract in NBA history, it is a 5 year supermax arrangement under which he will stay with the Bucks until the 2024-25 season. This deal sees Giannis receiving more than $45 million USD a year. Some of his major achievements have been, 2-time MVP (2019, 2020), Defensive player of the year last season (2020), 4-time All-Star for consecutive seasons (2017,2018,2019,2020). Giannis scores 27.1 points per game, 10.6 rebounds per game and add to these statistics 5.2 assists a game. Giannis is definitely a team player, great team mate and an enormous asset for the Bucks.

Luka Dončić:

Luka Dončić is a Slovenian player in the NBA, he players for the Dallas Mavericks. Age is just a number for the Euroleague MVP, he has turned up and has been dominating ever since. Luka Dončić led the Dallas Mavericks to the Western conference playoffs in the 2019-20 season, they clashed with the Kawhi Leonard led Los Angeles Clippers and took the series to game 6. He has been averaging 27.6 points per game, field game percentage of 46.5%, he averages 8 points a game and he recorded a 3-point percentage of 20.8%, these stats are unreal and he is just 21 years old, not even at his prime yet. Luka has found his place in the league as one of the youngest and most exciting guards that the league has ever seen. A few of Luka’s greatest achievements in the NBA have been winning the rookie of the year (2018-19) and last season he ended up 4th in the race for becoming MVP. Bear in mind he has achieved all this, and he is just 21 years old! Luka Dončićs development in the NBA has been incredible and he gives everything he has game after game, and basketball fans from all around the world are eager to see this young man prosper and become one of the greatest basketball players ever.

Nikola Jokić:

Nikola Jokić is currently the best center in the league. This Denver Nuggets big man does it all, he makes tough shots look easy, he is a brilliant rebounder which is a highly overlooked aspect of the game, his play making abilities leaves fans in awe. Nikola Jokić is so good at his craft that even his stats are a triple double, he averages 25.9 points a game, 11.6 rebounds a game and 10.9 assists a game. A center assisting and setting plays to get the easy basket is rare in the league. Nikola Jokić and Jamal Murray successfully led the Nuggets to the Conference finals where the Los Angeles Lakers led by the king himself, LeBron James proved to be too much to handle. Nikola Jokić is a 2-time NBA All Star (2019, 2020). Nikola Jokić is a Serbian big man that has an incredible Basketball IQ and passing ability. Above all, Nikola Jokić is a fantastic teammate and a real joy to watch, and a fierce competitor with a ‘never say never’ attitude which was on display last season when Nikola Jokić led the Nuggets to overcome deficits and spark comebacks in the 7 game playoffs series to beat the Utah Jazz (4-3) and the Los Angeles Clippers (4-3).

Jamal Murray:

Born in Canada, Jamal Murray is an explosive dynamite of a player, he showed the world the fire in him last season when the Denver Nuggets went up against the Utah Jazz. In the first round of the playoffs, Donovan Mitchell of the Jazz vs Jamal Murray, what a treat to watch, the series went on play out for the entire span of 7 games and although both teams fought tooth and nail, the Nuggets came out victorious. Following this performance, Nikola Jokić and Jamal Murray led the attack to yet another unlikely, thrilling victorying game 7 against the Los Angeles Clippers led by Kawhi Leonard. Jamal Murray has the ability to turn on and make ridiculous shots that can leave the opponents in his shadow. Jamal Murray and Jokić complement each other perfectly giving the basketball fans a show to look forward to every time the Denver Nuggets play. Jamal Murray averages 22.0 points per game and 3.9 assists a game. Jamal Murrays passion for the game of basketball can be seen game after game.

Joel Embiid:

The big man from Cameroon who plays for the Philadelphia 76ers is a monster when in form, Joel Embiid is an excellent defender and he is a teammate that pushes his team to perform their best, he wears his heart on his sleeve every night he goes out to play. Joel Embiid has made the all-NBA team 2 times (2018, 2019) and the NBA all-defensive team 2 times (2018, 2019). Joel Embiid is averaging 24.6 points per game, 11.8 rebounds per game and add to that tally 3.3 assists per game and he is a force to be reckoned with. Joel Embiid a.k.a. ‘The Process’ is a challenge to contest against when he is at his best.

Kyrie Irving: Even though Kyrie Irving was born in Australia, he is not included in my list as he plays for team USA. If he was on my list, he would be 2nd. His handles are sick and too hot to handle against most teams.

Nikola Vučević – Montenegro - Orlando Magic

Kristaps Porziņģis – Latvia - Dallas Mavericks

Pascal Siakam – Cameroon – Toronto Raptors
